Okay, This Time I Mean It!

Okay, okay. I was a total slacker the last few months on the web serial. I get it. Bad writer. In my defense, I was in the middle of a move.

Lame excuse, I know. But I’m back now with an all new installment, and I’ve got three more lined up and ready to go.

Normally as we approach November I’d be taking a break to work on my carpel tunnel for NaNoWriMo, but I promise I won’t disappear again for that. Yes, that’s right–I’m breaking tradition, folks. No “We Interrupt This Website for National Novel Writing Month” image this year. It’s my penance. But boy are my fingers going to be tired after doing NaNo AND the serial…

Anyway. Enjoy! And sorry to do this to you, but I’m turning off comments again. Despite no posts for a month plus, I have over 25,000 spam messages waiting moderation. *Sigh* The bots are busy this time. I’ll try the comments again in a month or so. Maybe by Christmas they’ll get tired and give up.

And…We’re Back!

Thanks for being patient while I took a couple weeks off posting Toxic. Of course with comments turned off thanks to the spam-bots, you might not have been all that patient. I just didn’t know. :-)

Hopefully I’m forgiven. I did promise I’d be back the first Tuesday of August with a new installment, and here we are. Part 27 is up: Party Lines: All the Rage in 1937.

Hope you enjoy. And I hope you’re enjoying what’s left of the summer. For my area, all the kids are moping and dusting off the backpacks to go back to school. Next week it’s going to be like that Staples commercial in my town, I swear. And I’m pretty sure the Mighty Z is going to look like that little girl on the left. LOL.
