LOL for the week. If you don’t get the reference, might I suggest you crawl out from under your rock and catch up on Game of Thrones? At least to the Red Wedding:

From the Tumblr of the funny Kathleen Kay. I hope she doesn’t mind I filched it to share with you guys.

Not much new on the writing front. R&R is in progress and going well. And I’m catching up on my reading list. I just finished “The Raven Boys” by Maggie Stiefvater and am in awe. Serious awe. I also have a bit of a crush on Gansey, but who doesn’t? Now I’m kind of pissed that I didn’t wait longer to read it. Why? Because book 2 doesn’t come out until September, dang it.

This is why I read series I think I’m going to like later rather than sooner. If I love it I want the ability to buy the rest of the books and inhale them in a short period of time, not wait a year in between fixes. As a writer, I know authors can’t just churn out sequels like something mass-produced. But as a reader, I want them to. So darn it, Maggie, churn! I’ve got enough authors I love torturing me with once-a-year releases. ;-)

Have a good weekend, everyone!

A quick funny to make up for my lack of post this past Friday. I changed day jobs, so I’m still trying to adjust to all the newness there. I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled program (aka writing, not sleeping, and eating too much chocolate) soon!

If you’re really jonesing for updates before then, there’s always Twitter. ;-)
